In an interview with a news agency, Aparshakti Khurana, who plays the sign language specialist, discussed the film. He stated, “I am deeply attached to the Berlin movie because it brought out the best in me. Atul Sabharwal pushed me out of my comfort zone and immersed me in a tough realm. It’s like being the wildcard in a high-stakes poker game when everyone keeps a secret. Trust me, this isn’t your average binge-watching experience; it’s a mind-bending conundrum that will have you playing detective from your couch. This is a new character and role for me. So, brace for a surprise because this movie is where the laughs end and the intensity begins.”
Ishwak Singh, who plays the deaf-mute role, described his experience: “From the start, I thought this was a remarkable picture. I found the character and the story really engaging, and just like the plot, it was a wonder how I would solve it. I trusted my intuition and believed in Atul Sabharwal’s vision, and everything just fell into place. Playing Ashok, who is deaf, has without a doubt been the most difficult character I’ve ever portrayed. I had to be fluent and comfortable with sign language, therefore I naturally chose to sign rather than speak when playing the scenarios. The deaf population takes pride in sign language and does not consider it a handicap. That also has to come through: “Intensity begins.”
